In the first one-day match played in Brisbane, Pakistan maundered first and scored 160 runs in 40 overs for the loss of 8 lattices. Under the Duckworth- Lewis system, Australia had to score 158 runs in 40 overs. Pakistan's Nida Dar stood out with 59 and Bisma Maheru with 28 runs. For Australia, Darcy Brown and Jonassen got 2 lattices each. Australian captain Meg Lanning won the toss and decided to address. Meg Lanning has returned to justice after a gap of 6 months. It should be noted that there was intermittent rain in Brisbane, due to which the match was confined to 40 overs
