The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the vice-captain of the national team for the ODI series against New Zealand. 

The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand is starting on January 9. The names of the final players of the national team were announced yesterday, the national team will be led by Babar Azam while Pakistan's vice-captain Shadab Khan is not part of the ODI squad due to injury. Shadab Khan was injured during the Big Bash League in Australia, due to an injured finger, Shadab failed the fitness test for the ODI series. The PCB statement said that the ODI series was against New Zealand. Shaan Masood will be the vice-captain.
